Trip to Jakarta for the weekend. Beware of pic spam.

Okay, so on Saturday the 29th of November just two days ago, me and my family went back to our hometown in Jakarta, Indonesia for the weekend. There's an even called Jakarta Jazz 08' and since we're all a fan of Jazz, we decided (well my dad) to check it out!
It started out just like the usual weekend day, I woke up at 1.30 PM and literally just being lazy on the sofa while watching the television like I usually do. Suddenly, my parents were talking about a family out day for the weekend. I heard they mentioned places like Singapore, Penang (Malaysia) and Port Dickson (Malaysia). But then my mum went "Why don't we just go to Jakarta and see Jakarta Jazz 08'?" I heard she said that, but the television kept my eyes and head from literally everything else that was going on at that moment. I also heard my brothers questioned my parents about it, excitedly. As I was focusing on what was happening in my house, I sorta had the feeling that we won't be going back to Jakarta because it was 2 PM! But then I was wrong.
My dad told us to take a shower and pack up for the trip. I was really excited and also shocked so I was lost for half an hour and didn't do anything. I started to pack my bag and filled it with clothes and make up and some books. I went on Twitter, updated my status, then packed my laptop in to the luggage bag. We left the house an hour later, straight to the aiport. We didn't even have the plane tickets when we left! My dad said that anything could happen, like the plane could be full and stuff. But I was pretty sure that we were going to make it. The good thing is, we don't have to pay for the tickets that much because my dad is a pilot for the airline company, Malaysia Airlines, which was obviously the airline that we took. And yes, we got them tickets!
As we were waiting for the boarding room to open, we sat down and I took out my laptop and went on Facebook. My friends were all like "GAWSH WHAT? MEET UP! HOW LONG WILL YOU BE HERE FOR?" And I replied them by saying "Only for a day -sigh" Then there were complains and rants on how I should be there for at least a week and stuff and bla bla bla. I felt bad already and when they pointed that out, I felt even worse -sigh. So yeah, boarding room opened and we went in.

So there you have them pic spam! I took loads of photos but these are the ones that I like the most. Besides, the other ones are just pictures of the performers in Jakata Jazz 08' and some random city pictures.
I had a lot of fun meeting my cousins and some friends even for only 2 days 1 night! I miss the food, we have the best food. I ate so much, I couldn't stop eating. I miss the people already, especially my cousins. They're such sweethearts and I don't know when I'm gonna see them again *sad face. It was such a fun weekend! I hope I can go back to Jakarta for a couple of weeks before I move to Germany for good in, hopefully, March.
At Jakarta Jazz, I saw a couple of performers only because I was there from 8 PM and the event started from the afternoon. I missed out Indra Lesmana -sigh. But it was still fun! Because I get to see Open Hands feat Abraham Laboriel which was wicked! It was best and oh so good! I didn't get to see the talented (and also super hot) Mr. Ray Harris and The Fusion Experience from Glasgow, UK though *sad face. But they're going to be perfoming in Groove Junction in KL tomorrow the 2nd of December, so I'm going to see them there!
